    d^n=x, solve for d

    Hi,

Hopefully someone can help me out:

If I have d^n=x then how can I solve for d?

I thought it might be d = nlog(x) but actually I found out thats wrong as its the base I need to solve for and not the power value.

I'm fairly stuck on this so any help appreciated.
