    [SOLVED] How to factor these two dudes...

    4r^2 - 4r -3

    9r^2 + 6r + 82


    Im embarrassed to say I could not factor these for repeated roots.

    Lern me right plz.

    4r^2 - 4r - 3 = (2r - 3)(2r + 1)


    the second quadratic will not factor over the reals, but ...

    (9r^2 + 6r + 1) + 81

    (3r+1)^2 - (-81)

    [(3r+1) - 9i] \cdot [(3r+1) + 9i]
