Lern me right plz. $\displaystyle 4r^2 - 4r - 3 = (2r - 3)(2r + 1)$ the second quadratic will not factor over the reals, but ... $\displaystyle (9r^2 + 6r + 1) + 81$ $\displaystyle (3r+1)^2 - (-81)$ $\displaystyle [(3r+1) - 9i] \cdot [(3r+1) + 9i]$
