    Need help with algebra question 1?

    Simpliy the following problem using the distributive property 2x + 3y + 2 (x - y) - 3x. Show each step your calculation. Justify each of your steps using number propertys.

    Hi atthlee,

    2x+3y+2(x-y)-3x

    First, distribute the 2 over the (x - y)

    2x+3y+2x-2y-3x

    Next, combine like terms:

    2x+2x-3x+3y-2y=\boxed{x-y}
