How does "x" relate to the determinant or its underlying matrix? What does "delta" stand for? Thank you!
delta is i think the "value" of the determinant. i think we have to use the identity x^3=1 t say which of the four options are equal to the original determinant.
ok i confirmed it from my teacher. He says that the "Delta" refers to the "value of the determinant" and it is NOT the derivative.
