2 Questions about slope and lines!!

Hello, I have two questions that I can't figure out. If someone can help me out that would be great. Thank you!!

1.) What is the slope and Y-intercept of the graph of the following equation.
y=-2/3x4

2.). What is the equation of the line parallel to the line 2x+3y=6 and crossing the y-axis at (0,-5)

what do you mean by y=-2/3x4?
y= -2/(3x+4)?

2)

$2x + 3y = 6$

$y = \frac {-2x +6}{3} = -\frac{2}{3}x + 2 \rightarrow k = -\frac{2}{3}$

$y = kx + n$

you've got y and x coords -> (0,-5)

$-5 = k \times 0 + n$

$-5 = -\frac {2}{3} \times 0 + n$

$n = -5$

now you've got all.

$y = -\frac {2}{3}x -5$

the last part is a waste of time though. if x = 0, then you should know that y coordinate of the point equals n.
