1. ## How do I do this problem please?

I understand that A = 22/7

I don't know how to work out the rest. For example is B worked out like this.
3 + 1 = 4/1
7+ 1/15 = 106/15

So I then have 4/1 and 106/15 - what do I do next or have I gone wrong already ?

2. Hi

$B = 3 + \frac{1}{7+\frac{1}{15}}$

$B = 3 + \frac{1}{\frac{7 \cdot 15+1}{15}}$

$B = 3 + \frac{1}{\frac{106}{15}}$

$B = 3 + \frac{15}{106}$

$B = \frac{3\cdot 106+15}{106}$

$B = \frac{333}{106}$

3. $
3 + \frac {1}{7} = \frac {21}{7} + \frac{1}{7} = \frac {22}{7}
$

$3 + \frac {1}{7+ \frac {1}{15}} = 3 + \frac {1}{\frac {106}{15}} = 3 + \frac {15}{106} = \frac {318}{106} + \frac {15}{306} = \frac {333}{106}
$

another example..

$
\frac{\frac{4}{3}}{\frac{5}{2}} = \frac {4 \times 2} {5 \times 3}
$

do you undestand now?

4. Thank you.
I am going to print that off and try and do the rest and I'll come back a little more later with my (hopefully correct ) answers.

5. This is my answer to C.

15 X 1 +1 = 16
1

7 x 16 + 1 = 7x16 = 112+1 = 113
16 16

3 x 113+16 = 139 + 16 = 155
16 113

C= 155/113

I have corrected in red

7. Sorry that was a typo.
So apart from that mistake it was right ?

I'll try the last one now.

Thanks again
