Hi Nathaniel,

$\frac{2k-3}{6}-\frac{3k+1}{8}$

The GCF is 24.

Multiply each term by 24 and place the result over 24.

$\frac{24\left(\frac{2k-3}{6}\right)-24\left(\frac{3k+1}{8}\right)}{24}$

$\frac{4(2k-3)-3(3k+1)}{24}$

$\frac{8k-12-9k-3}{24}$

$\frac{-k-15}{24}$

$\frac{-(k+15)}{24}$
