1. ## Solve for a variable.. simple algebra..

I can't figure this out.. is it unsolvable?

$3y^2 - 6xy + 3x^2 - 3 = 0$

Solve for either x or y

Thanks

Reduce the equation to :

$y^2-2xy+x^2-1=0$

$(y-x)^2=1$

Thus , y-x=1 or y-x=-1
