    Solve for a variable.. simple algebra..

    I can't figure this out.. is it unsolvable?

    3y^2 - 6xy + 3x^2 - 3 = 0

    Solve for either x or y

    Reduce the equation to :

    y^2-2xy+x^2-1=0

    (y-x)^2=1

    Thus , y-x=1 or y-x=-1
