1. ## intercepts

(1-2x)^2(x-3)

How do i find x and y intercepts
thankk you

2. $y = (1-2x)^2 (x-3)$

to find the y intercept make x=0 and solve for y
In this case
$y=(1-2*0)^2 (0-3)$
$y=1^2(-3)$
$y=-3$

for x intercepts make y=0 and solve for x. This is made easier for you as the equation is already factorised:
$0= (1-2x)^2 (x-3)$
$(1-2x)^2 = 0 \mbox{ or } x-3 = 0$
$x = \frac{1}{2} \mbox{ or } x=3$

$\mbox{y intercept} (0,-3)
\mbox{ x intercepts} (\frac{1}{2},0) \mbox {and} (3,0)$
