Thread: find x in terms of G

ok basically its this:

2/5 (x+1) = G
find x


I said you cant do it, but you help me out!

2/5 (x+1) = G, find x

in order to find x you must multiply through the fraction on the left hand side so:

.2.........2
--- x + --- = G
.5.........5

I know you don't want me to solve it for you so the next step would be to manipulate the equation so that x is the only thing on the left hand side and G and all numbers are on the right hand side.

The next step I would do is multiply everything by 5 and you can take it from there.
