    Subtract 5x from both sides to get: -0.77=x+0.92

    Subtract 0.92 from both sides: -1.69=x

    Do you know how to subtract negatives? All this is doing is adding 3.6 to -2.5

    You mean simplify?

    I always go easy on myself, divide both numbers by 5 to get: \frac{75}{200}

    Divide both by 5 again: \frac{15}{40}

    Divide by 5 again: \frac{3}{8}
