Subtract 5x from both sides to get: $\displaystyle -0.77=x+0.92$

Subtract 0.92 from both sides: $\displaystyle -1.69=x$

I always go easy on myself, divide both numbers by 5 to get: $\displaystyle \frac{75}{200}$

Divide both by 5 again: $\displaystyle \frac{15}{40}$

Divide by 5 again: $\displaystyle \frac{3}{8}$
