Transposing a formula: solve for R
Hi, can someone help me with how to solve for R? Thanks a lot for your help.

1/wavelength = R(1/4 - 1/n^2)

as long as $n \ne 2$, just divide both sides of the equation by $\frac 14 - \frac 1{n^2}
