Math Help - Solve for the variable...

    Solve for the variable...

    2+3(X-1)-8=7-(2X+1)+X

    I get 3 3/4.... what do you get??? (btw, answer has to be a fraction, not a decimal)

    2+ 3x-3-8=7-2x-1+x

     3x+2x-x=7-2-1+3+8

     4x=15

    x=\frac{15}{4}

    x=3\frac{3}{4}
