Solve for the variable...
2+3(X-1)-8=7-(2X+1)+X

I get 3 3/4.... what do you get??? (btw, answer has to be a fraction, not a decimal)

$2+ 3x-3-8=7-2x-1+x$

$3x+2x-x=7-2-1+3+8$

$4x=15$

$x=\frac{15}{4}$

$x=3\frac{3}{4}$
