Thread: Solving Inequality

Ok Hey I just have a quick question, I have a test today and I know one of the questions will ask me to solve an inequality (find the values of x that are less than eleven for example)

I was just wondering, I could use graphing right??? That is still solving it even though I'm not really manipulating the equation in any way.

I just want to know if it would be reasonable for my teacher to mark me down for using graphing and not manipulating ( I'm quite sure they won't specify as to how to solve the inequality)
