express y in terms of x

    Q: if x = [6+6y]/(7+4y), express y in terms of x

    my answer:

i tried getting the y's all on one side..

    (7+4y)x = 6(1+y)

    i've been getting things like
    7x/6 = 1+y-4xy

    i know the answer is
    (6-7x)/(4x-6)

i just need to know the work how to get here
    thanks in advance

    Good!

    so you have 7x + 4xy = 6 + 6y

now how about putting all the terms with y in them on one side, and then factoring out the y ...
