Math Help - i have two questions about inequalities

    i have two questions about inequalities

    find the range of values of k if the quadratic equation (k+1)x+3k+5=8kx has real values of x

    and

    find the range of values of k if each of the quadratic equations
    (i)kx+4x+k=3 (ii) kx+kx+1=3x has real roots

    i tried to solve them but i couldnt manage and tmrw i need to hand them in!

    1) It seems you just need to find where the discriminant is greater than or equal to zero.
