this is what I have come up with:

- 16 2/3

= 97 2/3 - 16 2/3 = 81 2/3 this is the answer that I have come up with.

98 - 16 2/3 is the same as writing 98 - 16 - (2/3)

we can subtract the integers first:

98 - 16 = 82

now subtract the fraction

82 - 2/3 = 81 1/3

or 81.333...

make sense?
