Solve the following equations.

$3^{x2-5}-9^{x-1}=0$

i ended up with

${1/{243}}y - {1/9}y =0$

no clue where i went wrong
my working out is pretty screwed up or i'd post that too.

there is a bit of confucion .. i assume the equation is
$3^{x^2-5}-9^{x-1}=0$

$3^{x^2-5}-3^{2x-2}=0$

$3^{x^2-5}=3^{2x-2}$

$x^2-5=2x-2$

solve for x then. .
