    Can you solve 18 = 3x^2 - 7 for x?

    I don't know what you mean by "standard form". I was referring to the steps involved in the solving process. Are you able to solve the equation provided?

    If so, then use the exact same steps in the exact same order (though with the different numbers, of course) to solve the equation you'd posted.
