No what I am trying to do is use the critical value method to solve this irrational inequality, then I have to write the solution set in , interval notation:

How far have you gotten? You've factored the numerator, found the zeroes of the numerator and denominator, figured out where each factor is positive and negative, drawn up your chart, and... then what?

(Note: I am assuming that, by "chart", you mean something like what is explained here. If this is wrong, please provide detailed corrections.)
