There are 7 girls on a bus

Each girl has 7 backpacks

In each backpack, there are 7 big cats

For every big cat there are 7 little cats

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?
(7)(7)(7)=343 (girls)(backpacks)(big cats)

(343)(7)=2401 (big cats)(little cats)

total cats=2744 (343)+(2401)

(7)(2)=14 (girls)(legs)

(2744 cats)(4 legs)=10976+14(girls legs)=10990 total legs

3. there are 10990 legs in the bus..

there are 7 girls so there is 14 legs 7*2

each girl has 7 bags
in each bag there are 7 cats so there is 28 legs
each cat has 7 kittens so 7*7=49 * 4legs= 196 legs
196 + 28 legs=224 * 7 bags = 1568
1568 * 7 girls = 10976
10976 + 14legs(girls) = 10990..

. . They have: . $7 \times 2 \,=\,{\color{blue}14\text{ legs.}}$

There are: . $7\times 7 \,=\,49$ backpacks.

There are: . $49 \times 7 \,=\,343$ big cats.
. . They have: . $343 \times 4 \,=\,{\color{blue}1372\text{ legs.}}$

There are: . $343 \times 7 \,=\,2401$ little cats.
. . They have: . $2401 \times 4 \,=\,{\color{blue}9604\text{ legs.}}$

Add them up . . .

Usually, this is given as a trick queston.
