Question is :

x > 6/x-1

I get up to the point (bit too messy to type) where i'm stuck with x^3 and I have no idea what to do with it. Walk through will be appreciated!

Edit: ah I figured it out, i kept assuming that i had to multiply both sides by (x-1)^2 which only applies when there is a >1 or <1 on the other side. Anyways thanks for clicking this thread lol

$x > \frac{6}{x-1}$

$x - \frac{6}{x-1} > 0$

$\frac{x^2 - x - 6}{x-1} > 0$

$\frac{(x-3)(x+2)}{x-1} > 0$

Now you just have to build a table of signs to find the solution
