I'm assuming a two digit number?

Let it be $\displaystyle ab = a \cdot 10 + b$.

We know that a is 3 more than 5, so a = 8.

a is double b, so a = 2b. Since a = 8, thus b = 4.

So the number is 84.

Well, 8 - 2 = 6, so that's the one's digit. 6 - 4 = 2, so that's the ten's digit. Your number is 26.
