If you mean $\displaystyle \frac{7}{8}$meters cut into 14 peices:

you would write $\displaystyle \frac{\frac{7}{8}}{14}$meters

which is equivalent to $\displaystyle \frac{7}{8*14}$meters - Jul 28th 2005, 04:43 PMSteves5a
