    Question speed distance time

    Sorry guys need help again

    A particle moves through space at a speed of 210 metres per second for 5.2 x 10 to the power of 8 seconds
    Calculate how far the particle will have travelled.
    Give your answer in standard form, correct to 3 significant figures.

    Working needed for 3 marks.

    this is straight up multiplication ... what do you get?

    As Skeeter pointed out, this is simply a multiplication question.

    1 second = 210 metres
    2 second = 210 x 2 metres

    5.2 \times 10^8 seconds = 210 x ( 5.2 \times 10^8) metres
