    I'm having problem with a parabola equation, please help

    My Problem:

    You complete the square you have,
    3x^2-24x+50
    So,
    3(x^2-8x)+50
    Now you add and subtract,
    3(x^2-8x+16-16)+50
    Thus,
    3(x^2-8x+16)-3*16+50
    Thus,
    3(x-4)^2+2

    Thank you very much. It's the multiplying by 3 that I did not use in my logics. Thanks again for all your help.
