    Using Formulae 2

    3)
    Use the formula
    v=√u^2-2as
    To work out v
    (√ is root, and its all of it. Like the line at the top of root goes all the way to the end of formula)

    a) u=0, a=-10, s=5 (Is this one -52?)
    b) u=10 a=-10 s=5
    c) u=5 a=-2 s=10
    d) u=2 a=1/2 s=3
    e) u=1 a=1/2 s=2

    Based on my calculation a should be 10 or -10

    v=√u^2-2as
    v= √0^2-2(-10)(5)
    v= √0+100
    v= √100
    v = 10 or v = -10

    Hope it helps
