    How do I convert 0.24 to feet?

    0.24 what?

    without the units of what we are converting from, this is meaningless. if it is 0.24 cm to feet, that would give a different answer than 0.24 inches to feet which would give a different answer from ...

    ok...

    I was told to multiply 0.24 by 100 and that will produce 24 feet.

    Does this make sense?

    Depending on what the 0.24 is representative of. Without units, no it does not make sense.
