    Transposing Formula

    Can someone tell me how to get this function in terms of q:


    p = 500,000/q^1.5

    I think this should be the way to approach the question. Correct me if i am wrong. learning along the way

    p = 500000 / q^1.5
    pq^1.5 = 500000 ( cross multiply )
    q^1.5 = 500000 / p
    lg(q^1.5) = lg(500000/p) ( lg both sides )
    (1.5)lg(q) = lg(500000/p)
    lg(q) = lg(500000/p) / 1.5
    q = 10 ^ (lg(500000/p) / 1.5)
