    fractions help please

    how do you multiply fractions
    for example 27*7/18?

    27 \times \frac{7}{18}

    You should see that 9 is a factor of both 27 and 18.

    So it simplifies to this:

    3 \times \frac{7}{2} = \frac{21}{2}

     \frac{a}{b}\times\frac{c}{d}=\frac{ac}{bd}
