I'm having trouble with this quadratic equation......
x(squared)
------------- = 4
(1-x) (4-x)
What's the best way of tackling this?
What I did:
I expanded the brackets first, multiplying out (1-x) (4-x)
getting...
x squared - 3x + 4 = 4
---
x(Squared)**
I got stuck here and I don't think this way is correct.
I should get x = 0.93
**When I post the numbers aren't where I want them. It should read 4 over 2x after I expand the brackets.
