    find the x intercept of y=3x^2-6x by factoring

    Hello bondra,

    Set y=0

    3x^2-6x=0

    Factor out common monimial factor of 3x

    3x(x-2)=0

    Zero product property says:

    3x=0 \ \ or \ \ x-2=0

    x=0 \ \ or \ \ x=2
