    Parabola

    Write an equation for a parabola with vertex(-2,4) and passing through
    (-1,8)

    It should be simple im just not getting it

    y = a(x-h)^2 + k

    vertex is at (h,k) = (-2,4)

    plug in -1 for x and 8 for y ... solve for " a".
