    Hello, Joker37!

    Factor: . 2(x + 3)^2 - 98

    Factor out the "2": . 2\,\underbrace{\bigg[(x+3)^2 - 49\bigg]}_{\text{diff. of squares}} \;=\; 2\bigg[(x+3) - 7\bigg]\,\bigg[(x+3) + 7\bigg] \;=\;2(x-4)(x+10)
