    Logarithms

    Can someone please explain how to get the answers for these problems?

    Simplify:
    1.) e^3 + ln4

    Express y in terms of x:
    2.) log y = 1.2x-1
    3.) ln y = 1.2x-1

    TIA

    1) is the expression e^{3 + \ln{4}} ?
    as you have it written, it is already simplified.

    2) y = 10^{1.2x - 1}

    3) y = e^{1.2x - 1}

    btw, here's some free advice ...

    change your user name. a name like that is not conducive to receiving help from those who help out on this board.
