depends on what $x^2 + 4x$ is equal to ... did you leave that part out?

well the original problem is this:

i am trying to get the factored forms for the top and bottom so i can use sign analysis to determine the answer(s)

maybe it did not show up for you but it says x= plus or minus the squarerootof 4 for the first post

$\frac{n^2+4n+4}{n^2+4n} > 0$

$\frac{(n+2)^2}{n(n+4)} > 0$

critical values are $n = -2$ , $n = 0$ , and $n = -4$

now do your sign analysis.
