    Algebra Prob.

    is x^2+4x equal to x= √4

    depends on what x^2 + 4x is equal to ... did you leave that part out?

    well the original problem is this:


    i am trying to get the factored forms for the top and bottom so i can use sign analysis to determine the answer(s)


    maybe it did not show up for you but it says x= plus or minus the squarerootof 4 for the first post

    \frac{n^2+4n+4}{n^2+4n} > 0

    \frac{(n+2)^2}{n(n+4)} > 0

    critical values are n = -2, n = 0, and n = -4

    now do your sign analysis.
