    Transpose

    2.)how do i transpose the following equation to make h the subject,



    if a hot air ballon is subjected to an air pressure at a altitude h of 70.129kPa
    the atmostpheric pressure at sea level P0 is 101.325kPa
    and coefficient k is -8152
    find the height from the sea level, of the hot air balloon.

    Hi

    This looks like a classical schoolbook differentialequation solution.
    To make h the subject, you need to use the natural logarithm.

    p=p_{0}\cdot e^{\frac{h}{k}}

    e^{\frac{h}{k}} = \frac{p}{p_{0}}

    \frac{h}{k} = ln(\frac{p}{p_{0}})

    h=k\cdot ln(\frac{p}{p_{0}})
