Hey guys

I couldnt figure out how to put the formula I made in MathType on here, so I'll just type it out manually

((2x-1)/(x+2)) = (4/5)

Solve for x

If anyone knows how to make it look like the real deal instead of what you would punch in your calculator can you let me know?

Hello DHS1,

$\frac{2x-1}{x+2}=\frac{4}{5}$

Cross-multiply (essentially, multiply both sides by 5(x+2)

$10x-5=4x+8$

$6x=13$

$x=\frac{13}{6}$
