What's the easiest way to calculate Log(to the base 0.3) x 1.25 ?
I mean, how would I actually input that into my calculator? Do I ave to rearrange the equation?

Use logarithm base conversion formula to change to base 10.

$\log_nx=\frac{\log_bx}{\log_bn}$

$\log_{.3}(1.25)=\frac{\log 1.25}{\log .3}$

3. Ok so for that problem I got an answer of -1

And for the problem Log(to the base 2) x 0.5 I got an answer of approx. -0.185

Is this correct?

$\frac{\log(.5)}{\log(2)}=-1$
$\frac{\log(1.25)}{\log(.3)}=-.1853393619$
