    How Can I solve A pair of Linear EquaTIONS uSING Determinants??

    I followed my example exactly, but im not ending up with the proper answer, I dont know what I could be doing wrong. I will give you one of my questions and you could solve it for me and explain how u did it. Would be greatly appreciated I need this done b4 mon. thx in advance heres the equation.

    4x - 5y=20
    3x + 3y=42

    I've attached a screen shot to show you what you should have done exactly. (Probably you didn't use the signs of the numbers properly(?))
