    Equation help

    I'm working a calculus problem and I'm stuck on the algebra part. I'm trying to solve this problem:

    -1/((x+1)^2)

    ?? That is not a "problem". You have just written an expression. What do you want to do with it?

    Sorry, It should be -1/((x+1)^2) = 0
