    Help Solving an Equation

    2(3u + 7) = -4(3 - 2u)

    I get 13 but im not sure if thats right...

    distribute the outside numbers

    6u+14=-12+8u
    6u-8u=-12-14
    2u=-26
    u=-26/2
    u=-13

    remember to change signs when moving to the other side
