252 g = 63% of the total mass (100%)
With only knowing that, what would be 37% and what would be the total 100%?

this what i think, tell me if it matches with the answer in the book

252/63 divides evenly (4)
this should mean the value of every percent is 4
therefore, 37*4=148
and 100*4=400

there is another, more common way to do it

252/.63=400
then multiply 400 by .37 to get the percent of 37
400*.37=148
