1. ## One question which involves fraction, time, litres (need your help to solve it)!

Hey guys I didnt understand this solution properly, I am confused when they say divide 9 by 6 to get 90minutes. So can anyone explain this in deep details as posible thankyou bye.

6 litres fuel being used for = 1 hour

so, 1 litre fuel being used for $= \frac{1}{6}$ hour

so, 9 litres fuel being used for $= \frac{1}{6} \times 9$ hour

$= \frac{9}{6}$ hour $= \frac{3}{2}$ hour = 90 minutes

3. Hey thanks for answering my question, actually I am not good in fractions so please explain me how did you work out 1 over 6 from 6 litre = 1 hour ?

4. Here’s how I see it:
Look at it this way, you have 9 litres of fuel to burn. And you can burn 6 litres in 1 hour. That leaves 3 litres left after one hour of riding. And because you know that in 1 hour, you burn 6 litres, 3 is half of one hour. So you already had one hour of riding, plus another half hour, so that’s 1.5 hours, 1 hour is 60 mintues, half an hour is thirty, so 60 +30 is 90 mins.
