    simultaneous equation

    hi can some one help me with 2x+5 = -4/3x+25/3..........please explain everstep im awful with things like this!!

    Algebra

    <br /> 2x+5 = -(4/3)x+25/3<br />

    <br /> 3*(2x+5 )= 3*(-(4/3)x+25/3)<br />

    <br /> 6x + 15 = -4x + 25<br />

    <br /> 10x = 10<br />

    <br /> x = 1<br />
