    What is the sum of the polynomials 3a2b + 2a2b2 and ab2 + a2b2

    3a^2b + 2a^2b^2

    and

    -ab^2 + a^2b^2

    ?

    understand that you can use the caret (^) symbol to designate an exponent ...

    x^2 is understood as the value of x squared.
