$\displaystyle 2kx^2+3x-3=0$

a = 2k, b = 3 , c = -3

Discriminant $\displaystyle = b^2-4ac=-39$

$\displaystyle (3)^2-4(2k)(-3)=-39$

$\displaystyle 9+24k=-39$
