okay here is some of the questions i couldn't do

factorize the following fully

a) 8(m^2)+4m+2
b) (x^2)-3xy-4(y^2)-6x-6y
c) (x^3)-4(x^2)-12x-(x^2)y+36y
d) (x^2)-9(y^2)-3xz-9yz

Umm no it isn't but show us what steps you have tried and then we will help.

$\displaystyle 8m^2+4m+2$

$\displaystyle 2(4m^2+2m+1)$

$\displaystyle 2(4m^2 +2m+2m+1)$

$\displaystyle 2[2m(2m+1)+1(2m+1)]$

$\displaystyle 2(2m+1)(2m+1)$

$\displaystyle = (x+y)(x - 4y - 6)$

c) $\displaystyle x^3 - 4x^2 - 12x - x^2y + 36y = x(x^2 - 4x -12) - y(x^2 - 36)$
$\displaystyle =x(x-6)(x+2) -y(x-6)(x+6)$
$\displaystyle = (x-6)[x(x+2) -y(x+6)]$

d) $\displaystyle x^2 - 9y^2 - 3xz - 9yz = (x+3y)(x-3y) - 3z(x+3y)$
$\displaystyle = (x+3y)(x - 3y - 3z)$.
